ROBIN JONES

Mrs. Jones, a CPA, is a shareholder and executive officer in the firm.  She is a graduate of the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce with a B. S. in Commerce. She also attended Virginia Commonwealth University and received a post-baccalaureate certificate in accounting. Mrs. Jones is also a Certified Financial Planner, CFP, having completed the required academics and testing. During 1993, Mrs. Jones completed the Certificate of Educational Achievement Program in Governmental Accounting from the American Institute of CPAs.

She has been working in accounting since 1979. She was employed by a major banking institution for two years as a Financial Systems Accountant, afterward opening her own CPA practice in South Hill, Virginia in 1984. Mrs. Jones joined our firm in January, 1986. Her primary responsibilities with the firm are auditing, tax, data processing, and financial planning.

Mrs. Jones is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Virginia Society of CPAs, and Institute of Certified Financial Planners. She has taught data processing at a local private school and accounting courses at a local college. She belongs to several social and charitable organizations. Mrs. Jones is a native of South Hill, Virginia.
